The  project Argo   of Trenord aims to standardize the software for scheduling and managing shifts of material and mobile personnel in order to   maximize  the  productivity of the company.

The project involves the integration of software products  aimed at the individual programming (GoalRail®) and management (Maior®) functions, as well as with the entire ecosystem of software applications.

Many of the software applications  which integrate with the programming and shift management systems   derive from other projects developed by NordCom: SAP HR, which acquires the attendance of staff in the final balance for payroll processing; RAMOS – RailWay Mobile Suite – native Android app for smartphone and tablet devices for use by mobile staff (train drivers and captains); NEMO: system for the acquisition of traffic data in real time (both on the Ferrovienord network and on the RFI network), useful for the operational management of machine and personnel shifts.

Tap & Go is a system that, with a simple touch at the entrance (“tap in”, in computer language) of the contactless credit card on an entrance or a totem equipped with POS (Point of Sale), allows you to:

• carry out the checks
• initiate the financial authorization transaction for the purchase of the ticket
• access the train
• deferred registration of the authorization on the central system created by us

Tap & Go, if access to the network takes place from a closed station such as Milano Nord Cadorna, requests a ‘tap out’ action at the exit once it reaches its destination. The system, through the native Android App, allows the on-board staff to check the ‘tap in’ with the relative status of the bank transaction.

Tap & Go is evolving: an additional module is planned to integrate this innovative sales channel with the existing accounting systems in the company.

On Malpensa Express website, travelers can ask for the receipt of the payment made with the Tap & Go system.

NC SmartCheck provides the company with a back office webapp that allows you to associate the licenses acquired under the contract with your mobile devices.

NC SmartCheck is installed on every Android mobile device “occupying” one license of those activated via the back Office. The mobile devices are paired, via bluetooth, with a POS reader supplied by Nordcom which acts as a subscription reader and printer.

NC SmartCheck, once configured, allows the operator to check the subscriptions and view the results of the checks. The data on the checks performed are synchronized with the central system for producing the reports.

TRENORD E-Store has allowed the company to integrate its traditional sales networkand obtain considerable advantages:

• more widespread presence on the territory
• better flexibility and time-to-market of the online commercial offer.

TRENORD E-Store creates and offers the typical shopping experience of e-commerce channels. Allows you to load on customers’ contactless smartcards:

• simple / integrated electronic subscriptions
• single or return tickets
• travel tickets for connections with the airport (Malpensa Express)

E-Store TRENORD also allows the purchase of Free Time tickets that encourage the choice of public transport and promote visits to museums, amusement parks and other leisure time initiatives at discounted prices.

E-Store TRENORD was launched in May 2015 in the web desktop version and in September of the same year in the Mobile version usable from smartphones and tablets.
E-Store TRENORD today integrates functions related to after-sales services and the back-office for assistance to users.
