Operation Trenord Systems Integration
Business Connectivity Services between the Service Timetable design system, the GoalRail® Shuttling and Fleet Scheduling software, the Maior® Shift Management software for Personnel and the additional operational management applications of the railway company.
Since 2011 Trenord is the single operator of local rail public transport in Lombardy. Trenord is the result of the union of two branches of Trenitalia Lombardia and LeNord, from which it inherits management and contractual methods.
The Argo project by Trenord aims to standardize the software for scheduling and managing shifts of material and mobile personnel in order to maximize the productivity of the company.
The project involves the integration of targeted software products on the individual programming functions (GoalRail®) and management (Maior®), as well as with the entire ecosystem of software applications.
Many of the software applications that integrate with the Shifts Programming and Management systems derive from other projects developed by NordCom: SAP HR, which acquires the attendance of the staff for the processing of payroll; RAMOS – RailWay Mobile Suite – native Android app for smartphones and tablets for mobile workers (drivers and conductors); NEMO: system for the acquisition of traffic data in real time (both on the Ferrovienord network and on the RFI network), useful for the operational management of the machine and staff shifts.
