Technical direction

Among Nordcom’s departments, the numerically most consistent is certainly the technical department. A concentrate of skills that ensures the delivery of the services offered by the company, the design of the various solutions and the grounding of projects dear to customers who rely on Nordcom for the management and evolution of their IT technologies. Thus the soul of the technical management are the technicians who make it up while the objectives are digital technologies and everything connected to them to strengthen the role that digital disruption has in their businesses in client companies. Because as we know business and technology coexist and there are very close relationships between them.

Organized according to structures dedicated to the various core business processes to which they turn their attention, it guarantees communication between them for the exchange of information because, as they say, the supervision of IT processes is a team game. And this is precisely the objective of the Technical Management, whether you want to design and implement a new software solution or whether you want to implement or supervise the infrastructure without forgetting what is necessary to support the entire area which ranges from what end users care about fleet management, to arrive, when required, with the ancillary services necessary for the survival of the data rooms.

The specialized areas according to the business processes overseen concentrate on the development of software solutions as happens, for example in the Management Systems area dedicated to SAP solutions or in the Software Development area dedicated to business process management solutions for the transport market, also offering the support of Systems and Infrastructures which, as recalled by the name, aims to provide all-round system services that embrace the system areas by exception but also the network, with the aim of operating on central systems and communication networks with a particular focus on the management of fiber optic connections where the transmission medium is a privileged asset of Nordcom itself. All without forgetting all the issues relating to security management which today represent one of the foundations on which the management of IT processes is based. Nonetheless

Systems and Infrastructures deals with user management with specialist technicians who work in the fleet sector. Last (but not least) we mention the Help desk which completes the description of the technical management with the area dedicated to the development of the websites; here the specialization of the figures who work to support users is the strong point that best describes the working group, while the ability to manage TT’s software as well as the ability to offer website content using emerging technologies represents the possibility offered to make even areas that are normally taken for granted special.
